  1. found your article “This Thanksgiving, What are you thankful for?” in Asian Fortune while waiting for a take out order. Thank you for your thoughts and insights on what it means to be Thankful – especially that being thankful is a show both of “strength and humility, and an expression of maturity and wisdom.” With your permission, I plan on sharing that insight with my parishoners this Thanksgiving.

    • Thank you for taking the time to post this very nice comment. Responses like this are exactly the reason I write this column–to be able to connect with the readers and to help immigrants like me to be more culturally aware and competent to function and succeed in this country. Thanks again.

  2. I’m impressed, I must say. Actually not often do I encounter a blog that’s each educational and entertaining, and just to let you know, you hit the nail on the head. Your thought is excellent; the issue is something that not enough individuals are speaking intelligently about. I’m very comfortable that I stumbled throughout this in my seek for something related to this.
